I think I know the answer to this one.
Getting the message below when going into format. This disk is mirrored using Sybase' mirroring utility. Pretty sure it means the drive went but am not seeing any "Replace the hard drive" messages in the log. I do see fulty messages though.

Any idea why it says this in format? I mean formatting?
How is it formatting?

That's normal when a disk goes and it can't query information about it.

I had exactly the same this morning:

Must be something going around... I had a disk failure on Saturday...
