<DIV> lets <Select> show thru.

I have a <DIV> that is hidden and shown using a Javascript. I have used this before and never really have trouble, but this time the <DIV> floats over a table with a select field. The select field should not be seen when the <DIV style=&quot;visibility: visible;&quot;>.

Why does the Select form show through.
