Hi,
Has anyone used multiple templates ina single excel file. I am trying that, but everytime the previous template gets replaced by the current one.

Can anyone help???

Not sure what you mean. As far as I am concerned, an Excel File is a Workbook. A Template is an Excel Workbook (file) saved with a .xlt suffix instead of .xls. You can have multiple *Sheets* in an Excel template.

AFAIK the only way to ensure that a template acts like a template (forcing Save with another name) is to ensure that users puts the .xlt file into their Microsoft Office\Templates folder and open them using the menu File/New, or, using Visual Basic, something like :-
Workbooks.Open FileName:="h:\templates\invoice.xlt"

Hope this helps.
