I get the above error when trying to get information on any volume groups on system.

If I action an lsvg it works but if I add a -p etc it gives the error.

lsvg: Unknown Object Data Manager error: 0

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try something like

# odmget -q "type = hdisk" CuDv

Anything come up? (Can't test it, hope it's correct)

Cheers

Thanks, Henrik,

Ran the command and got the following error -

odmget -q "type = hdisk" CuDv
odmget: Could not retrieve object for CuDv, odm errno 5904

Thanks,

Martin

Hi dssops

Please use the follwing command syntax for retrieving the
odm object

#odmget -q name=hdisk# CuDv (for customized device objects)

also u can see

#odmget -q type=vgtype PdDv (for predefined devices objects)
