Running HP-UX 10.2 0n a K box... We are getting this sequence of error messages in syslog repeatedly... we are struggling with where to further look for the problem..

May 3 09:41:32 hero vmunix: Check.

Anyone familiar with this problem???

Hi dmarsee,

The kernel is recognising via a LPMC (Low Priority Machine Check), that your memory has a single bit error. This is not generally considered a problem, unless you begin to get multibit errors.

a LPMC is a Low Priority Machine Check error. This error is corrected by your system.
This makes it a LPMC.
You shoud check if there are HPMC errors and if so, contact HP for a solution.
