I know it stands for Line Preference Key but what does that mean??? Please help...

If several lines appear on this digital phone then set the LPK to the last key number you have. If line is ringing it should automatically go to that line woithout having to press the key for. LPK sometimes referred to as "last pick-up key"

I have used this feature when someone had multiple lines associated with their phone and didn't want to bother with hitting the key of the ringing line, they just wanted to pick up the phone.

Incoming Ringing Line Selection
With Incoming Ringing Line Selection enabled, when the user goes offhook,
the telephone automatically scans the DN keys (without the user
first manually selecting a DN key). If a line on the telephone is ringing,
it is selected and the call is answered.
LPK is the prompt you get when you allow IRA, NIA or OLA. You just enter what key are to be scanned for this feature. If you have a 2616 with an ADM filled with DN's, at LPK you would enter 37 so that all the lines are scanned with an incoming call so that any line ringing on the ADM will be answered by just lifting the handset.

Sorry, I tend to ramble.
