Hello, I've got a terminal very simillar to LPD7024D. On this terminal the "mute" button is flashing all the time. I know that one can stand it, but it's really annoying thing.
How to turn it off?

Hi slavog

What PBX is behind?
Is it the attendant console?
What happens if you press the MUTE btn?
Is the PBX equipped with VMIB (voice mail)?
let me know...

1) What PBX is behind?

* ipLDK-300 OFFICE

2) Is it the attendant console?

* YES

3) What happens if you press the MUTE btn?

* Now I'm almost 2k km from the system, bu as I was told completely nothing happens no metter onhook or offhook

Is the PBX equipped with VMIB (voice mail)?
let me know...

* I don't know, but I don't think

I have checked the LDP-7024, but can not see any MUTE button.
Where is it placed?
I can see these buttons:
Speed, DND, Trans/Pgm, Speaker, Hold/Save, volume.
Is it a programmed button?
To me it seems to be a programmed button (flex key) that gives info about "who has called" (CLIS Calling Line Information Save).
But if you press the button, this will be shown in the display.

I know this keyset type. It is an Elite KD/E-36EXE 36 buttons keyset from back in time with the GDK-34/162/186.

It was produced before Lucky and Goldstar was merged.
And before the partnership with Nortel came up.

I need to what happens, if you press that button...

I asked around and some hints came up.
1.
If connected to an ipLDK-100/300 and this phone is installed as attendant the MUTE button could be acting as an alarn indicator telling that an ISDN30 (PRA/PRI) is disconnected. This is of course only valid if you use ISDN.
Press 565 to aknowledge the alarm, an the btn will stop blinking.
2.
CLIS could be enabled. Disable is from PGM114 btn 4 "CLI MSG Wait". Erase all numbers by the CONF button.
CLIS shows the number of incomming callers.
3.
Take the keyset apart and cut the wire for the LED.
4.
Swap the phone to see if it helps.
5.
Restart/reload the system to see if it helps.

I pressed 565 on a terminal. J got the message the alarm i off, but "mute" is still flashing or rather blinking (flashing wasn't exact).
What I noticed is when the handset in offhook it stops blinking.

About restarting: the system was cpmletely reseted by mistake and restarted a few times, but blinking lasts.

Clis. I'm not sure where to find clis with ldkpcadmin

CLIS could be enabled. Disable is from PGM114 btn 4 "CLI MSG Wait".

Did you also remove the battery switch and go to default database?
Have you als tried to swap the phone or swap the equipment position on the DTIB board?

///doktor

CLI MSG Wait is OFF
I can't swap phones now. I'm away and users are afraid of it. Next time I'll be there in jun 2010
If yopu have any suggestions to change the program or dial on the phone. I'd be appreciate.

OK, I will ask around, but at this moment I do not have any ideas.
