i have the above server but when i try to load any OS it issaying no hard drive present and it have 3 ultra3 scsi hard drives.... well i am only seeing the scsi controller on ID 7 inthe scsi configuration utlity...

What OS? If your using Windows 2000 then you will need to include the Symbious SCSI drivers in your unattended build, or insert the disk and install them when prompted in the 1st Txt-mode portion of the setup.

Your SCSI adapter is not supported by your OS that u r installing. Try to downloading the driver to a diskette. Use the starup disks so that you will not miss the option for installing additional drivers for your scsi adapter. I suggest using start up disks because I forgot what function key option to press if you boot from CD.. (Win NT and Win2k use diff. function key??!!, im not sure.)
