Can you recommend a low cost SOHO Router with QOS. I want to run a VOIP phone over it. I didnt want to spend more than $150.00 but if you have something outside that price. let me know as well.

Wasting your time, unless you own the entire route, it won't make any difference. QoS has to be enabled and set up on every node.

e.g

Route A (QoS) - ISP & Internet(No QoS) - Router B (QoS) = No QoS.

If running internal then that could be a different matter.

You make a good point and I would agree with you on the Internet traffic.

But I would like to make sure that the SOHO has QOS for the internal traffic such as 2 PCs running heavy traffic and a VOIP call. The VOIP call should have the priority. I was wondering if anyone was running QOS using a Netgear, Linksys, D-link or recommend another brand?

Can you clarify how your set up is. For example are all the users in the same segemnt of the network or do you have different segments linked together via routers.

The reason I ask, often QoS is not needed on small networks (and can even slow it down).

Just don't want you chucking money away at the wrong hardware (seen it to many times)
