Hi guys

When I need to detect if there is an issue during a phone call I make a list trace station,so I can receive error messages or useful information to get clues about the issue, but sometimes the trace information is not enought to find out the root cause of a problem. I wonder if exist a lower level trace in wich I can see detailed information about all the steps in the call proccess, ¿Is it exists?

Thanks in advance

Sounds like you need an MST trace. The web interface to the media server has a MST trace analyzer. Do a few searches here on Tek-Tips for MST trace. I can usually through trial and error hack my way through a MST trace to get the info I need, but am by no means expert enough to tell you how to do it.

You can use Command: change mst
for IP traces, call trace, vector trace, isdn d-channel and multitudes of other kinds of tracing. I have been doing mst traces for many years and can help you.

Thank you for your help guys, I'll make some tests to see if I get the information that I need.

Thank you again :)
