I am working on setting up a barcode system that utilizes etching in a transparent substance. I am looking for a barcode scanner that needs the lowest contrast possible. If anyone has any tips that you may be uncovered, I would really appreciate them.
I have in fact done that, and I could read the barcode, but not reliably. I think it was reflecting inside the glass. However, I can't use ink in the application that I am designing.
A company makes a process to create raised barcodes on metal. But the scanner is very expensive. Several Thousand $$$$$. Maybe you could send them a sample of yours and see if their scanner can read it.
I don’t recall the name
