Loud DTMF Tones in Agent Headsets

When a customer calls our center, at the end of the call we offer tp transfer the customer to other businesses. Recently, our agents have started to complain about hearing the LOUD outpulsed tones when the transfer is generated. Is there anything anyone can think of that would generate these tones where I could either adjust volume or turn off so agents would not hear them? In my Definity G3R v11, I have replaced a TN748 tone detector board and changed the sys feature setting to "y" for "No Dial Tone Conferencing." Thank you!
