Our Notes server is configured to send email through our Notes SMTP service to our exchange server. In order to do this, I have modified my user entry in the NAMES.NSF to have my Forwarding address listed as exchangemailalias@domain.com (IE. jsmith@microsoft.com).
When I send an email in Lotus Notes, I receive the email in my Outlook folder, however the sender adress appears as joe_smith@microsoft.com (I believe it is creating this address using the formula of "firstname_lastname"+"@maildomain.com"). Because of this, I am unable to reply to the message as this address does not exist.
Is there anyway this can be adjusted so that whatever email I send from Lotus Notes will have my 'forwarding address' (as defined in my names.nsf entry) set as the sender address? (thus allowing people to reply to the message)
Thanks,
g21
