Hi,

Since I have moved from Notes 5 to 6.5, the logout screen appears (almost) everytime I open some dialog boxes (e.g. user preferences, spell checker, out of office, etc). Even when switching between tabs on the out of office dialog, the logout screen comes up as if I would have pressed <F5>.

What's worse: when using recipient lookup, 1 time out of 2, the logout screen appears when I press <enter> or <,>. As soon as I unlock, it's locking itself again and again ... sometimes more then 20 times in a row.

Considering the policies that have been set up (complex passwords, more than 12 chars long), this is driving me nuts!

I have already tried to uninstall/reinstall Notes. I tried to refresh + replace the design of the mail file. In the end I gave up and reinstalled the computer from scratch ... even that did not help.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Wim

Is it possible you have a memory resident add-in that is doing the equivalent of <F5>????

Could be. In that case it should be one of the Toshiba tools - I reinstalled the laptop from scratch and the problem occurred immediately.

I'll have a look what happens in safe mode.

Final solution: upgrade to Notes 7. All problems are solved now.
