lots of "blank" voice mails in CUE

my customer is experiencing the following problems with there CME/CUE.
1.The phone displays that calls are missed, but the phone has not rung (sporadic occurance).
2. Another extension has 12 voice mails, but 10 of them are "blank".
3. Another extension receives a call, the call is answered, the call ends, but the phone keeps ringing. The phone only stops when it receives another call.

Any help would be appreciated.

#1 ???

#2 Seems like a lot of hangups doesn't it? Maybe the call isn't ending properly if people hang up and CUE tries to record sound. Just a thought...

#3 is a symptom of some older phone loads and IOSes. Continuous ringing was around until late 12.3 releases but was fixed in (I think) all 12.4T releases. What releases are they on?

Thanks for the response. I'll check the phone loads. #1 & #2 may be a result of bad infrastructure.

How many lines are on your customer's phone? I have seen #1 happening if a phone has multiple DNs and one of them has the ring setting as "disable".

For #2 issue I would increase your minimum message length to 3 seconds. It may not completely weed out the hang-ups, but it will 99% of them.
