There are tons of Photoshop tutorials out on the web...so do a search and you'll find lots of info...even if it's something like creating a simple button (and you may have no need for it) you'll still learn from going through the steps of just doing it.

Also recommend visiting Adobe's User Forums. Go to the link below and select either Mac or PC Photoshop/ImageReady forum. They have alot of FAQs and information on Photoshop. I have learned much from reading that forum. Hope this helps.
