Hello everyone. New kid on the block here. I have just lost my "touch tones" on my Digital Sets, i.e. M2616, M3904 on succession 3.0 software.

No one has made any changes that I know of...any clues?

Sounds like you lost your Tone and digit switch (TDS)

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

one loop, one card, one switch? opt 11? did the software change? does the phone dial out and you just don't hear the tones?

My problem is system wide. It's a Option 81C. When I dial out or into my Voice Mail...I don't hear the tones anymore. The software did not change. I did have some software corruption after this problem was reported. The corruption has been taken care of, by doing a parallel reload.

If you did a parallel reload did you put back the latest Dep. list?

Yes, the latest and greatest Dep_list from Nortel is installed.

the reload may have changed ees in the cdb, feature data

Code:
  EEST YES
    DTMF YES
  EESD NO

does not change tones, it allows the caller to hear the tones they press... check that 1st

it's usually better to pdt the corrupt files, then do a reload IF it's needed..

Make sure that the DTMF table is set for North America (14) in LD 97.

Thanks John! I was just logging in to let everyone know that I had just changed EEST to "yes" in the CDB. That fixed the problem.

Thanks to everyone for the help! Have a great day!
