lost replication fields

After recoving lost data from a corrupted replicated Access2000 database, I found that the s_Generation and s_Lineage fields are gone from my tables. Everything seems to work, but does anyone know if I can expect that this may become a problem?

Thank you for your reply. I did look over the FAQ, but other than saying that the fields are created when a db is made replicable, not much is said about them.
