I've accessed a Merlin Legend switch using craftr4 and I've changed the password to lumina.
Now I'm trying to gain access again, but the application hangs with lumina and any other password less than 7 digits.
The switch is running R1.4 V2.0.
Is there any way of resetting the password to have access again?

Thanks.

The best way to reset the password is to connect directly to the system via the admin port with a laptop. You can access the system that way without it requiring a password. once you get connected you can use SPM to change the password.

Could you please tell me what kind of cable shall I use to do this?

Thanks a lot for the help!!!

You can use a 355A adapter and a cat5 patch cord to connect to a serial port on your laptop. I have to use an adapter to go from DB25(the 355a adapter) to DB9(my laptop serial port).
Have fun.

Is there any chance of building this adapter? I can't get this 355A adapter in Buenos Aires.
Is it possible to know the pin out in order to build it?

Thanks.

There is a way to build it. I'm not sure what the pinout is. I think I have one around that I can look at, though. I will try to locate it and find out for you.

I found the way to do this. Using a DB9 adapter and a RJ45, the pin out mapping should be like this:
RJ45 DB9
1 9
2 8, 6, 1
3 4
4 5
5 2
6 3

Thanks again for the help.
