Is there any recovery method for a saved configuration file that the password has been lost for?

Wouldn't be much of security if you could just recover it.

I hear ya but figured it was worth at least asking.

A few years back, I was given a copy that I still have called
"SetupRevelationV2.exe". I saw it being used to highlight a password on an IPO config.

I don't know what password it found, but I did see one listed when the chap used it.

I cant remember, but do you need the password to push the config to a spare IP Office control unit? You might be able to push it to a spare unit and do a password reset and then re-save the config. just a thought?

Another thought would be to rename the file to config.cfg and load it to an SD /primary folder and see what happens.
