Hi guys,

I have a problem with a Cisco router and RAD FCD-E1. These devices can not handle packages. I ping router from W2K terminal as "ping -l 8192 -t <ip_address_router>" and a 95 percent of packages were lost.

The configuration of interface s0 are MTU 1500, BW 128, DLY 20000 usec and queueing strategy is fifo.

There is an optimal configuration for the router in order to ping ok, or for the RAD.

Thanks in advance.

RAD? You mean like you have asych lines in the router hooked to a RAD modem or such??

Try this under the ethernet interface or whatever connects to you other networks.. "no ip route-cache"

I've had that problem with a 2511 using dialup...
applying that command fixed it though..

Yes, I have an async line. I will try this. Now is working, I changed MTU parameter to 576. But is slow now.

I am not 100 percent identified with router configuration, but I have noticed something. The communication between two routers is very slow. The configuration in both routers is a little different (with show config command). There is something to do with this?
