Lost Internet

I hope this isn't taboo. I have ME running on a machine. I lost my internet. I have good wireless connection, I have internet from the router at other machines. Ran IE setup, no luck.

Stuck on this one.

In addition to what Parabolic says, try going to Start->Run and type in "cmd" - a black box will appear. In that box, type in "ping

http://www.yahoo.com"

and find out if you get a response.

Also try "winipcfg" in the Run box as well. In the next window, make sure that whatever's in the white box doesn't say "PPP Adapter" Then let us know what the IP address is. You can also try pinging that number like above.

what i need to add, even tho it says "pc-name\Guest" grayed out i can if i enter a password go into a directory, but when i try the same for a drive it doesn't work.

Windows can't find cmd

The white box has ICSHARE adapter

The IP Address is 192.168.2.119

Defalt Gateway is 192.168.2.1 which is the IP of my router
I can access it. The other computers on it are able to connect to the internet. I ahve a good signal from the router. No connection is working. Not antivirus update, outlook or spyware update. Have removed all communications form add remove programs and the reg entries remote access, all winsocks and all items for network properties and re placed them. LAN connection works. As does WLAN.

FYI Downloaded from Lavasoft Winsock repair tool. Fixed it.
