HI can anyone help

I formatted my hard drive it was 13 gig but now its only 2 gig what can I do to get it back to hoe ot was????

thanks

This usually because you didn't install the super large size hard drive access utility on it.
Or you fdisked and formatted with a version that limits you to 2.1 gb drive size. Or you didn't tell it you wanted large drive support.
See if you drive manufacturer has a large drive disk manager available.
You might also want to look on the web for "hard drive limits" and see what has created this problem for you. Ed Fair

Any advice I give is my best judgement based on my interpretation of the facts you supply.

Help increase my knowledge by providing some feedback, good or bad, on any advice I have given.

Please specify a drive brand and model. Some drives (especially IBMs) have a "2Gb clip" jumper, which limits disk capacity to 2Gb when set. Check for this. ----
