In a report written in CR 6, all but 2 indexes are lost when the same report is written anew in CR 7, pulling from 2 Foxpro 2.6 data bases. Either data base can be accessed alone in the CR7 report, but not both. This problem, though not the solution is recorded in Crystal Decision's web site. Any help would be appreciated.

Can't you manually assign the index to the tables that lose them? That may have been how the V6 was created. I think CR will only find the indexes automatically if they have the exact same file name as the DBF.

If you were to recreate the report in V6 using the same environment does it pick up the indexes correctly? Ken Hamady

I tried to recreate the report after finally finding an upgrade copy of V6 and a computer to put it on. I tried adding the same two Foxpro databases to a new report. One data-base is fine. The other it won't allow me to add. It says that pdbbtrv.dll is missing, and that it is an unknown data base type.

Weird, that dll is for Btrieve, not FoxPro. Are you sure you have FoxPro files (ending in DBF? Do you have index files? what is the extension on the indexes? Ken Hamady, On-site/Phone Crystal Reports Training/Consulting
