Lost disk space

I have and exchange server that keeps loosing disk space if you take it offline and run a disk check it brings back the disk any ideas?

Sounds like it is crashing? Is it RAID I hope?

what's in the event logs? Have you used any tools to find out if there are files accumulating somewhere? Are you doing a FULL backup of Exchange with an Exchange aware backup solution?
