Hello
We're using Windows 2000 server sp4 as a terminal server on 3 machines with Notes client R6 (and R6.5 on a test server). My users DO NOT use the email feature at all. the only thing they use it for is to view databases that are kept on an as/400 server here. Sporadically, this message will show up in the event viewer and it seems to be linked to a message that is shown to the user that says "The Disk or Network drive is no longer available." and this is the Warning in the system log:
Event Source: MRxSmb
Event Category: None
Event ID: 50
Date: 6/17/2004
Time: 2:27:03 PM
User: N/A
Computer: MBCMF2
Description:
{Lost Delayed-Write Data} The system was attempting to transfer file data from buffers to \Device\LanmanRedirector. The write operation failed, and only some of the data may have been written to the file.
This is happeing on all 4 (including my test server with R6.5) terminal servers. Although, we can run it from our pc's (the admins) and we never see it. I checked out IBM's support, but it show my exact situation..
Anyone ever seen this?!?
