After resetting an SMS 2.0 site sp4 I lost the Component Status and the Site System Status ICONS under the Site Status folder in the Administrator Console. this happens from any machine I run the Admin Console on, so I think it is a problem with the Site Server. I can still view status messages by rt. clicking on the <sitecode> - site name ICON.

thanks

Is upgrading to SMS 2.0 SP5 possible ?
If so, do it.....
Remember to upgrade the Central Site first, then the Primary Site(s) and at last the Secondary Site(s).

Cheers,
Chris

I followed Microsoft article 271694 which required the running of a SQL Query in Query Analyzer on the SQL server containing the SMS Database. I used this article because I had moved the database to another SQL server before resetting the site.
