My address bar just disappeared on my IE6. I've tried reloading from Microsofts website but the address bar just doesn't come back. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Daren

Gone as in right-clicking on the toolbar area and it's not in the available ones? (OR from the menu at the top...View/Toolbars)
Go to kiosk mode (full screen) by toggling F11.

Howdy Darren:

First of all, go to View>Toolbars Now, make sure Address Bar is checked.. If it isn't, make sure the "Lock Toolbars" option is unchecked and then check it.

Next, take a look to the far right of your toolbar.. do you see "ADDRESS" there?? If you do, just use your mouse and "grab" the vertical line to the left of it and pull over..

I have the same sort of problem. The address bar on my IE6 has disappeared. If I go to the view menu, I can select the address bar and it shows up to the far right of my screen. Here is the difference: normally you would click on the bar and drag it back to where it belongs, but with mine, the address bar is there but is unavailable or inactive. You cant click on it almost like it has been deactivated. What could this be? The only way I can type in a site is by typing it into the run line under the start menu.

Thanks in advance!

Right click up there and clear the lock the toolbars selection.

The toolbar lock/unlock on XP and IE6 was getting a lot of folks when it first appeared. :)
