I've seen this in the forums here for awhile. I've discovered what causes it on my system. There is a registry entry:
HKLM\Software\Commvault systems\galaxy\instance001\machines\accounting\djobresultsdir\
the path under this registry entry was pointing to the d: drive. this system doesn't have a d: drive and ifind was presumably crashing because it couldn't write to the log files. My question is why does this registry entry keep changing to the d: drive every time this server gets rebooted. it's easy enough to fix it but a little annoying.
