Hi all,
we've got a little prob with one of our ProLiant 380.
We lost the ILO-Password. Is there any known way how we can get the password for this server or to set up a new one ?
Any hints welcome
thanks
Uwe

I believe this information should be recorded inside the cover of the server

This may also help

Use the Security Override Feature on the ILO server to allow the use of the F8 ROM Based Setup for the ILO. Then reset the settings to the factory defaults. Do not forget to set a new Administrator's password.

Switch 1 on system board

Hi Appi.

Here's the solution.

You can deactivate the security on the iLO by finding the block of switches on the system board labeled SW1 near the PCI slots.

Place switch #1 in the ON position.

This will allow you to access it without a password. You can then reset your password.
