Losing Connection

This is the low down. I have 4 machines we call CAD's. They have to connect to a server for the state(TEX). We call it the TLETS server. So in our NIC configuration we have the IP as the IP of the TLETS server, the subnet is set for the TLETS network, the gateway is our gateway and the DNS is our DNS. In our Advanced setup our gateway has a metric of 1 and the gateway of the TLETS has a metric of 2. It has been this way forever but for some reason since we have replaced these computers with Dell T3400's XP Pro, they will lose internet connection. These computers are in a 911 station and they get the connection back by Repairing the connection. It happens a few times a day.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you have IP conflicts there, e.g. some or all using the same IP...
