As of yesterday whenever a user uses a terminal services session and logs out the property in active directory that sets them to a member of Remote Desktop Users is removed. This means that we are constantly re-adding users to this group. I cannot understand why this would be happening. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

OS
server - windows server 2003 sp2
client - windows xp pro sp2

Setup - 3 remote servers - issue appears on each
multiple branches, issue showing at all of them.

Do you have a group policy that may be doing this? Maybe you have a Restricted Groups setting on a GP that is causing the removal.

Thanks for your reply any help is much appreciated.
No there is no Gp that could affect this. Nothing has been changed on this side for quite some time. The error only appeared some time yesterday morning and has plagued us since. We've changed the 'managed by' setting in the remote desktop users properties so that only one administrator account can effect changes but this also seems to have had no effect.
