Loopstart vs Groundstart

I have some copper lines at a remote site that I believe are ground start, I would like to bring them into the built V3 port on an avaya g250, but they seem to only accept loopstart. Is there anyway around this without buying a Media module card?

It is the built in card 4t-2L-Integ-Analog in the "V3" slot. The 2 removable slots have nothing in them at the moment.

I am not aware of a workaround for the G250. You could ask the LEC to reprovision the line as loop. We have done that in the past.

The 250 doesn't support mm cards either btw. The 2 slots support an ICC/LSP or a router module. You can't add mm711, 714,716, 717 etc to a G250. With the 250 it's pretty much "what you got is what you got".

So correct me if I am wrong.

At a remote site I would like to add the g250, but they have 8 copper lines. The g250 only can handle 4. Since this place is local, I can port their existing numbers into my current PRI at my core campus and then keep 1 or 2 copper lines at the remote site for outgoing 911 and a fax machine or 2. Hook up some IP phones and call it a day? Or is there a way to add the ability for the g20 to handle more copper lines, or even pri?
