Hello,

I am new to flash and have no idea how to best go about accomplishing this;
I would like to loop the last 10-15 seconds of a 45-60 second movie, so that instead of the entire movie looping only the last 10-15 seconds loop.

Could someone please recommend a good way of doing this ? I was thinking of splitting the movie into two parts, having the first part trigger the next to play and tell it too loop the last part, but I don't even know if this is possible, or a good way of going about doing it.

Thanks very much,

Bjorn

Makes much more sense, seems like the best way to do it.
Thank you much!

I just noticed gotoandplay is having problems in internet explorer. In firefox it functions as expected, reloading the page starts the movie over. But, in internet explorer, once the gotoandplay has been executed, I need to restart internet explorer in order for it to play the entire movie again. For some reason Internet explorer gets caught in the gotoandplay loop and wont get out of it unless i restart IE. Any ideas why this might be happening ?

You must have checked it after I noticed my stupid mistake. gotoAndPlay(x) was accidentally placed on every frame instead of just the end frame, as it wasn't a keyframe. :p So I made sure it is only on the last frame and now it works as it should.

The weird thing is that it still worked OK in firefox despite that problem, and seemingly ok in IE.

Sorry, and thanks for your help.
