Looping emails

Don't know how helpful this will be to you. We had email looping here. The cause was that we put a limit on the size of emails that people could send.
If someone sent an email above that limit it got "stuck" in the mail queue on the server. All the other emails on the server for that user were continually downloaded (sent to the user) again and again until we administratively deleted the oversized emails that was causing the blockage.
Other than that, you must have a routing loop somewhere in the network. Good luck.
