I would like to find a specific Entry in my table by typing in an unique ID number (UNID) in a form and then it would pull up a data entry screen (another form).
The Data entry screen is created and I have created another form with an unbound text box to enter the UNID. I tried creating a macro and a command box in the form but neither one would work. It gave me the message "Type mismatch"
Please HELP!!

Try Creating A query. In The Unique ID field Criteria Type [Enter Unique Id] Put the rest of the fields in the query and Save it. Then select the query and select autoform. Therefore everytime someone opens this form they will be asked for the unique ID. Only records mathing that number will be displayed in this form. Andy:-9

Thank you Andy for the quick reply! Your suggestion worked out great! Is there any way to avoid creating a new data entry form? I have a form already produced with several macros in it that does various functions. I would have to reproduce each one of those for the new data entry form.
Thanks again Andy
