Hi,
I'm looking to adding a WAN emulator to my lab. Anyone out there know of something I could use that would't break the bank?
TIA

the cheapest dual serial port 2500 you can find :) The cisco can be turned into a frame switch by a single command.

Thanks, but what about ISDN and pots?
I know Adtran sells a unit also, but what about building something? " Old Heathkit builder" I still have some solder left.;-)

Kiss off the ISDN. There was(is?) a project to make a PC card and software based ISDN emulator but it has lost steam. There is alot of digital *stuff* that goes into making ISDN work unlike POTs which is pretty sttraight forward.

You can emulate a pots line or ISDN to a large degree by using an AUX to AUX connection between a couple of routers.

personally I would suggest biting the bullet and just by the ISDN emulator.
