hi

anyone know of an ap that will take a snapshot of the registry and then allow you to make a change on the system so that you can compare the registries to find the exact key that was changed? i know its out there somewhere :)

cheers

Hi.

I've used Arkosoft's Snapshot utility in the past. It's a little crippled in its shareware state, but might be enough to get the job done.
If you're really perverse, you can also use Novell's ZENWorks, which is a total joy to use and SO missed in my current job :)

Hope this helps?

Gerard

Have a look at REG from the NT4 resource kit. This has been described as a Swiss Army Knife for Windows NT.
