I'm pretty good with Photoshop, but Illustrator is fairly new to me. I'm helping a friend do his product packages and I already have all of the graphics, I'm just having trouble figuring out how to put it all together in Illustrator.

We already have the box dimensions and just need to get a vector file that the factory can use to print. My main question is how do I create the actual layout of the box to work on? In the pdf below I can pull out the box, but it just sits on a white background.

Thanks ahead of time for any help.

You can just open this PDF in Illustrator, then you will have the vector shape of the box to layout your graphics on. Your printer will probably want you to do the box layout at 100% size, but I would ask them to be sure.
