Looking for simple instructions on setting up pix VPN
There are a lot of threads, but does anyone have a simple 1/2/3 setup procedure for getting VPN access of a pix Firewall equiped with it?

VPN between what? PIX to PIX? Pix to client?

Using CISCO samples is one of the best ways to learn and implement.

In addition (not instead), you can try my utility from here:

It has support for simple PPTP and/or IPSEC VPN configurations, that you can use as additional samples and reference for your own configuration.
However, you must understand some of whats going on "under the hood",
and you should collect some info and make some decisions:
What PIX version used?
What kind of activation key you have (DES/3DES/none)?
What VPN client version.
Would you like VPN clients to access single/few servers or all internal networks?
What kind of authentication?
