Hey Everyone,

I have been searching the web looking for a pop-up menu. I have found a large number of drop-down menu, and side bar menus, however I have been unable to find a menu that has pop-up behaviour. I am looking for a menu script that I can place at the bottom of a page, so that I can replicate the behaviour of the start button in windows. If anybody knows where I can find such a script or a tutorial describing how to write such a script I will be really appreciative. Thanks heaps for your assistance.

Try Allwebmenus from likno.com.

Customize it in a way that the layer stays always at the bottom of the page regardless of people scrolling the page and then add the graphics to the submenu options with the Likno editor.

They actually have some example already there similar to what you need.

would that work for you?

grtfercho,

Thanks for the link, very interesting approach to web page menuing, I was actually thinking about doing something similar myself. After studying Human Computer Interaction at University I found myself thinking that it would be good to utilize the "Start Button" metaphor on web pages. Obviously somebody has beaten me to it! I figure that using a start button, or something similar should be familiar to most computer users. Plus such a navigation approach leaves heaps of room for whatever you want to put on the page :)

Again thanks for the URL.

I think using that menu builder you'll accomplish what you need exactly.
