I have a CCR setup "for the Dr. oncall press 1 and it dials the external number.
Problem
Dr.s rotate oncall every 4 days. Customer wants to be able to call in from home and change the external number that is dialed remotely.
So I tried setting up on the CCR press 1
1 goes to a mailbox
setup outbound transfer on that mailbox (which they could do on their own every 4 days) to a cell phone number.
doesn't work
NVM interface press 7 nothing ( just wants me to leave a message
Voice mail has access to the line pool

maybe I'm doing something wrong

any ideas for a work around?

Outbound transfer
when you are into the mailbox press 8 for admin
press 8 to open outbound transfer menu
press 1 to set up transfer.
follow prompts.

Remember to put in your route code if using PRI (eg 9)for external line before the external number.

when finished press 1 to turn ON outbound transfer.

ALSO
Check Outgoing channels are configured.
Check Class of service to see if you are allowed to use the service.
Outdial is set up in the mailbox

I'll check the class of service

channels have access to line pool (PRI) BlocA
my outdial is set on
dest. code is 16
Cell # 16XX-XXX-XXXX
so I input 16XX-XXX-XXXX in the mailbox outbound transfer
but when i test it doesnt seem to acknowledge my selection. It just wants me to leave a vmail message.

Make sure you have setup an OUTBOUND path in the mailbox itself. I would select ROUTING...

Ends up the system was originaly configures with CallPilot interface. T
The mailbox class has Norstar interface but the mailbox still needed the callpilot command "9" for outbound transfer.

I was using 7 because the mailbox was setup with NVM.
