looking for hardware/software to VPN into a broadband connection

Hello all, I am looking for a wireless router, preferably a gigabit version that will support vpn authentication to the internal network. I'd like to have the router or something authenticate a couple of outside users to become an authorized user of the internal network. Is that possible? I do not want to simply use a DMZ for this as most routers will be wide open on the DMZ and I don't want that. I want higher security. Anything come to mind? I've seen this and it seems to do what I Want but and not 100% sure without actually trying it out.

I have two of those, and the wireless part works great!

I'm still working on the VPN part (due to my non-knowledge of VPN)

Have you considered Hamachi? (free software VPN-thr-nat) I know it's not the hardware solution you were looking for, but it works great!

Thanks for the comment. No I have never heard of them, I will check it out now.

VPN. Are you trying to connect two networks together of the internet using VPN or are you simply trying to obtain remote secure access to a network using VPN?

Draytek routers are excellent and provide a number of VPN options - LAN to LAN, Client to LAN etc.

under support you'll find step by step instructions.

We have used them in a variety of situations.
