Hi,
I'm trying to do a relatively simple task - source, purchase and build a dedicated fax server.
If only it were that easy.
I've tried GFI Faxmaker 12, ActiveFax 3.81 and Zetafax 9.
My requirements are Email to fax and print to fax.
Email to fax is for all European office staff so they can fax via a central fax gateway. So for example a remote pop3 user would send an email to FAX@OURDOMAIN.COM .
Print to fax is for anyone in head office, so a document can be faxed as a virtual printer from Word, etc.

Faxmaker seems to only accept faxes via email with some odd config on the mail server - i.e. it says that you send a fax to DIALNUMBER@domain.com . This I can't arrange so I'm stuffed here. I don't have a whole domain to use for this purpose!
ActiveFax didn't appear to support email very well either.
My Demo of ZetaFax wouldn't even start (ZETAFAX service wouldn't start) :-(
So after a day of downloading and installing I've all but given up.
Does anyone have any idea of a Fax server solution that worked as simply as clunky old Microsoft Fax 1.0 (found in SBS4.5). MS fax server wasn't very clever but it integrated very well indeed.
Many Thanks In Advance.
