Anybody know of any utilities that will return mac addresses of nics on a network?
NT 4.0
TCP/IP

Since we are using DHCP on the network, I was able to dig up a neat utility called "dchpcmd" from the NT Server Resource Kit. One of it's functions is that it allows you to dump the dhcp database contents to a text or csv file. This allows me to get the "quick and dirty" result I needed.

Well, all you had to do was at a dos prompt type in ipconfig /all, that would have given you the MAC Address

Try this at the command line,

nbtstat -a [remote computer name]
OR
nbtstat -A [remote IP address]

MAC address will be the last line of info returned.
