Looking Call Monitoring-Recording Equipment? 1

I'm looking for call monitoring-recording equipment, that's compatible with a CICS system? Any suggetions, I only need it for 4 lines.

Four lines is easy, especially if you're looking for inexpensive. For less than $300 retail and you supply the PC, you can get into recording, or get a HD based system for about $1100 retail.

Looks pretty good,Quick question, to connect to phone system, can I run cat5e wire from communications/pc room to phone closet? and just tap into the incoming interfaces? and do you think I'd have any problem sharing the software with a pc thats running a 8 camera dvr system?

Yes, the Omnicrons have a low voltage sense so they bridge across the line and capture CID if it's sent, and DTMF digits dialed on outbound calls. Your log shows the mechanics of the call.

I wouldn't try to share it with a video recorder, since voice recording on 4 ports is probably 1/2 again as intensive as the video at 240 frames per second.

We actually captured voice on an ME box running USB 1.1.

Thanks, so your suggesting using a seperate pc? The other question I meant to ask is can they be accessed and listened to over the internet? What about monitored over the internet?

Omnicron makes a different product that can be. This system uses a file and a software retrieval program, so if you can VPN or otherwise link to the program, I would guess you can retrieve it over the internet.

This is not a real time monitor, the file has to be created first before you can monitor it. Think of it as a DVD or VCR.
