Thanks. I looked in the knowledgebase but not in the right place. I am wanting to use one of the ATA's to connect to a paging system in a remote building. Has anyone done that before?

I have not purchased one yet. I was waiting on feedback from you guys before making a decision.

OK that makes more sense now.
I have not used any ATA's yet (except my fatal attempt to use a Linksys PAP2T that I used for my SIP line before I had an IPO) so I am useless for that.
But if you can find a document on the knowledgebase you are golden because that ensures that you can make it work and have instructions for the settings that you need to tweak.

I have a multitech ata that's ringing a bell off site that works well. Easy setup with the multitech/avaya doc's

You may also want to look at Valcom's paging over IP product. Advantage is that it will work out of the chute without much anguish.

Default;350@-19,440@-19;10(*/0/1+2)

AVAYA; 400@-9;30(*/0/1) ***To get normal Dutch dialtone***
