I wish to create a message box (eg Use this machine for work bla bla)to appear before the logon screen I done this with NT HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Not sure about W2K

Thanks

Paul

1) Log-on as administrator for local machine
2) Go to Control Panel / Administrative Tools/ Local Security Policy
3) Under Local Policies / Security Options, select Message text for users attempting to log on and Message title for users attempting to log on at the right window pane.
4) Enter value for the selected local policy setting.

That should do. Hope it helps :)
