We have set up a new cluster in W2K3, we encourter the cluster name has a long failover time. It take about 2.5 minutes.
But we have a cluster in W2K server, the failover time of cluster name in just few second.
Anything I can do to fine turn the failover time??

Many thanks

Hi,

I woud suggest you to initiate again a failover over. After that analyse the cluster log that is saved under c:\windows\cluster\cluster.log.

In the log you will see whats happening every millisecond. After that you can troubleshoot the problem.

Is it a print cluster ?

The cluster log time is GMT.
