I bought a netra x1 @ ebay. I connected my cisco connection cable on the serial A port , started terminal prog:

Code:
LOMlite starting up.

CPU type: H8/3437S, mode 3
Ram-test: 2048 bytes OK
Initialising i2c bus: OK
Searching for EEPROMs: 50(cfg)
I2c eeprom @50: OK
i2c bus speed code 01... OK
Probing for lm80s: none
Probing for lm75s: 48
Initialising lm75 @48: OK
System functions: PSUs fans breakers rails gpio temps host CLI ebus clock

LOMlite console
Please login: #.
Enter password:

I don't know the password!
The vendor said he always booted in Lom, never Lomlite, he never set a password! Is there any solution for this problem?

The jmp13/14 trick doesn't work

At "Please login" do you type a username? Our main account is admin. Not sure if this was Sun-default or site created

I read that via "lom" you can print out users and passwords
lom>usershow
lom>userpassword admin

No, the admin user doesn't work, The problem is that I have no acces to lom. While booting, you should write #. but this drops me to the lomlite console. I have not the password or the user, there is no way to acces Lom instead of lomlite. Tnx anyway

Hi. Thread518-251990 might offer a solution (annoyingly there is no confirmation of success or otherwise). If not, post back. Other threads mention changes to the jumpering.

The jumpering was no succes, the #. drops me to the lomlite console, not the lomconsole. Tnx

The author does say he/she had to try a couple of times to get it to work. Would it be worth contacting Sun on the offchance they might be able to offer a 'free' solution?
